All of us will go through painful situations in our lives. Some people might encounter it early in their lives or some towards the end. Facing challenging events might be a common denominator among people. However, everyone will look at it differently. Some people will see it as a hindrance, while others will look at it as an opportunity.
Life empowerment coach Rose Young knows the feeling that people need to go through in their times of brokenness. Coach Rose was once in their shoes after she faced devastating events in her life. “During those tough times, you will doubt yourself. However, you should realize that the brokenness that you are feeling today is helping shape your tomorrow. Sometimes, painful situations allow you to rediscover who you are and propel you towards your destiny,” she said.
Coach Rose Young had her fair share of challenging periods in her life. However, she overcame it and got herself back on track. Now, Coach Rose uses life’s lessons to overcome brokenness and pain to guide other people to get through their most brutal fight and unleash their God-given potential.

Challenging Times For Coach Rose
Before becoming a coach, Coach Rose was generating a reasonable revenue from her regular job, which let her provide for the needs of her children.
Coach Rose knew precisely the meaning of the line: life is not always sunshine and rainbows. Coach Rose was living a good life until two life-changing moments left her broken and in pain.
In 2008, Coach Rose found herself in a road accident. She recalled that the accident involved three vehicles, leaving her with multiple injuries in different parts of her body. “I had injuries in my neck, my back, and my left leg. But the worst of it all was my back injury. It was so severe that it hindered me from walking, sitting, or standing for at least five minutes before I could change my position,” she said.
Coach Rose thought that she already survived the most challenging experience she ever faced. Little did she know that a far more challenging one was looming around the corner.
Several years later, Coach Rose once again found herself in another vehicular accident. “The accident involved four vehicles. It was horrifying,” she said. She once more sustained severe injuries in various parts of her body.
Coach Rose admitted that she failed to report for work for a couple of years. Like a domino effect, she lost her home because she lost her job and can longer pay for it. “I can no longer give the needs of my children. It was painful for a mother like me. I doubt myself and lost my self-confidence,” she shared.
Coach Rose recalled that she had to endure the excruciating pain, both physically and emotionally and spiritually, and said that her brokenness was beyond broken.
But after years of suffering, Coach Rose realized that she has three children that depend on her. “It was a wake-up call for me. I became aware that the darker it got for me, the darker it got for my children. I told myself that I need to do something for the sake of my three children,” she shared. Amidst the pain in her life, she discovered the why of her life – her children. She admitted that her three young teens remain the why in her life.
Coach Rose decided to fight through the brokenness and pain in her life. She always reminded herself that she was doing it for her children. Coach Rose began the fight to become well again. It was a tough battle, but she made it through by saying positive things to herself each morning. She created the so-called “What I am Thankful For List,” wherein she wrote everything good about her life every day. “I decided to focus on positive things in my life to overcome pain, anxiety, and depression,” she explained. She also sought the help of a chiropractor to help her deal with the constant pain brought by car accidents.
“I did everything and anything that I could do to become better. I did get better,” Coach Rose said.
